This competitive youth basketball league consisting of teams from the Erie Catholic School System and other local schools is open for boys and girls in grades K-4. The emphasis is on developing basketball fundamentals while allowing the kids to experience healthy competition in a 5v5 full court format.
All games will be held at one of the local YMCA’s (Glenwood, Eastside, or Downtown.) Each game will be officiated and have a scorekeeper. Each participant will receive a t-shirt to be worn for games.
Registration Deadline: November 30, 2020 December 22, 2020.
Return fully completed forms packet (YMCA + St George Forms) and check payable to YMCA to the St George School office by the end of the school day on December 11th. Indicate “Play League Attn Ryan Abbott” on the envelope.

Q. When and where will we have practices?
A. Practice times and locations are limited due to the impact of the pandemic. It’s anticipated that each team will have one practice per week in the St George Gym. Additional practices may be added depending on gym availability.
Q. If the season is cancelled will I get a refund?
A. Yes, if the season is cancelled the YMCA will process refunds to the name and address listed on the check used to pay for registration.
Q. Will the kids be required to wear masks while playing?
A. We will follow the prescribed mask guidelines and make adjustments as they change.
Q. While parents (visitors) be able to attend the games?
A. The YMCA will follow the prescribed occupancy/social distancing guidelines and make adjustments as they change. It is anticipated that there will be restrictions for some/all of the season. This will be communicated closer to the start of the season.
